I think i just did two posts accidentally!
Well, hayden had been in a big boy bed for 2 weeks now, i think. And its great for now, BECAUSE HE DOESN'T KNOW HE CAN GET OUT!!! I call him my little law abiding citizen because he is always concerned when his friends break the rules. Well, the first night i told him not to get out of his bed, and so far.......two weeks later, he hasn't gotten out until we get him! Its great. So i go in there every morning around 745 and he is reading the same CARS book, wide awake, and just sitting in bed. Im not sure what he thinks of getting out because he tells me at times, " no get out".
So we will see how long this lasts. Because once i go in there i let him get out himself, so he knows he can........
and potty is going great also. Diapers for nap and night, but otherwise he is doing good!

That is awesome! I have heard that children do that!! I never had that experience....lol.
haha! so cute. tristan was the same way for quite awhile. then he started getting out on his own, so we barricaded his escapes with pillows and blankets and that worked again for quite awhile. then he started getting out AGAIN... and that was when we cut his nap out because he just wasn't tired enough for bedtime and wanted to goof off. now he knows he can get out (he sometimes will go potty in the middle of the night, even) but he pretty much stays in bed all night. such good boys we have :) and way to go on the potty training! i thought it was going to be SO difficult because i had heard a lot of horror stories from moms of boys, but it really wasn't so bad for us either.
lauren-you are one lucky girl :) we made the switch with micah about 2 weeks ago too...but he definitely knew he could get up. one night he got up over 150 times-no joke. it took about 2 hours of continually putting him back in and then he gave up. it took a few days, but now he is doing great. he only got up once tonight...and i can handle that. well, we must catch up soon!! i miss you way too much! love you
